Jay Penske – Owner and Team Principal

‘This was a perfect race day for DS PENSKE. Max, Jev and our entire team delivered an absolutely superb performance today — I couldn’t be prouder. Securing pole position and locking out P1 and P2 is a true testament to the dedication, precision, and hard work everyone has put in, both at the track and back at the factory. I would like to thanks everyone at Stellantis and DS Automobiles for providing the team with such a high performance car.

We’ll celebrate this moment, but we’re already focused on carrying this momentum into the next round!’

Maximilian Günther – DS PENSKE driver

‘What a day! Qualifying couldn’t have gone any better and starting from pole obviously gave us a good advantage. But of course we knew it would then be a long race. All the planets finally aligned and we were able to win in style! I’m very grateful to the whole team. This one-two means so much for all of us, as it’s the result of a lot of previous hard work, as well as all the different processes we have put in place.’

Jean-Éric Vergne, DS PENSKE Driver – 2018 & 2019 Formula E Champion

‘We’ve just experienced an absolutely amazing race! This is an incredible result for the team. I’m very happy with the way that I was able to come back up through the field and finish second. I’m also very proud of the team for all the work they have done. It’s a really immense privilege to live through times like these.’
