Both drivers battled through the field taking advantage of their exceptionally well-set-up cars and perfect team strategy to move into the points.

With this performance, DS PENSKE has set high expectations for Sunday’s race and the remainder of the season. The team remains fully focused on maximizing its performance and confident about its prospects in the upcoming races.

With everything to fight for, the team is already at work tonight with today’s results providing the ultimate morale boost and the focus firmly ahead to Round 14 tomorrow, Sunday 30th June at 14h03 local time. The goal remains to continue its ascending journey in the championship.

Today’s results mean a huge amount and I’m very happy with the race. Especially considering where we started, it was a good come back and we tried to do everything right.

Its very important points for the team’s championship and we are now back in third. It was a good day at the office, we keep pushing and trying to deliver good results. I look forward to being back at it tomorrow.’

Stoffel Vandoorne, 2022 Formula E World Champion

‘Race one in Portland was about overcoming difficult qualifying. The race was about being efficient, staying out of the trouble, and positioning our car in the best place to make up maximum spots. I think we could probably have a better result today, but overall we managed to score some points which is good for the team. Tomorrow is another day and a new chance to cross the finish line at the front of the pack.’
