DS PENSKE announces Jessica Edgar and Beitske Visser for the 2024/25 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship Women’s Test

Just one week after the unveiling of the new Black and Gold race car, DS PENSKE today announces its full driver line-up for the Women’s Test, as part of the Pre-Season Testing for the 2024/25 Season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship at the legendary Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain.
The team is pleased to confirm that Jessica Edgar and Beitske Visser will join the American squad for the Women’s test session on Thursday, November 7th, 2024.
Coming from a motorsport family and having raced in karts since 2010, the British driver, Jessica Edgar stepped up to newly launched GB4 championship in 2022 for her first full season of a single-seater racing, claiming a podium at Outlon Park. In 2023, Jessica joined the grid for the inaugural season of the F1 Academy, and a year later she took pole position and victory at the Circuit of the Americas in the USA.
Driving alongside Jessica is the Dutch motorsport racing driver Beitske Visser, who is currently racing most often in endurance Programs. At the age of 5, Beitske began karting. After that, Beitske competed in Formula 4, Formula Renault 3.5 and W Series championship, finishing second place in 2019 and 2022.
This Valencia women’s test marks a significant shift in the motorsport, ensuring that the women drivers will have the opportunity to showcase their talent in the same high-performance vehicle as our Championship racing drivers. Beitske and Jessica will demonstrate their competitive edge behind the wheels of the DS E-TENSE FE25.
The FIA ABB Formula E championship is back with the traditional pre-season tests, which will take place from November 4th to 7th , 2024, at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia (Spain).
