DS PENSKE REVEALS ITS NEW LIVERY FOR SEASON 11
- DS PENSKE launches its new Formula E car livery with French manufacturer partner DS Automobiles for Season 11 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship
- DS PENSKE presents one of the strongest driver line-up in the Series, with unique two-time Formula E champion Jean-Eric Vergne and youngest Formula E race winner Maximilian Günther
- Season 11 will kick off with official pre-season testing on November 4-7, 2024, in Valencia, Spain
DS PENSKE, in collaboration with French manufacturer DS Automobiles, is set to unveil its new racing car livery for the Season 11 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
This season, the team has taken a key interest in the voices of fans and wider motorsports world and design draws inspiration from the iconic Monaco special livery, which first debuted during Season 10’s special race, now refined for the full season in this latest iteration.
The new look emphasizes gold accents while integrating changes that make the car more visible and aesthetically striking, in line with the dramatic shapes of the GEN3 Evo cars for Season 11.
Sean Bull, DS PENSKE Head of Design, comments ‘As we have done in our most recent seasons, the now signature double diamond PENSKE shape synonymous with our FE identity remains, further building on the teams legacy in this sport. We always strive to create the most beautiful livery on track each season, not just in Formula E, but world motorsport and again we believe this years full season livery has achieved just that.’
On-track from Season 11, team’s GEN3 Evo edition named DS E-TENSE FE marks a significant leap in electric racing technology, with major technical enhancements such as a better grip with new tyres and a quicker acceleration – capable of 0-60mph in 1.82 seconds, 30% faster than a current F1 car, and 36% faster than the GEN3 car. Lighter, stronger and more sustainable, this fastest electric race car is a perfect fit for DS PENSKE to perform at its best and claim podiums consistently.
Jean-Éric Vergne and Maximilian Günther will take the first laps in the new design at the traditional pre-season testing days at the Circuit Ricardo Tomo, in Valencia, Spain, from November 4th to 7th, 2024.
