PENSKE AUTOSPORT is delighted to announce the signing of a 4-year alliance with the French automotive brand DS Automobiles. The Team has been renamed DS PENSKE Formula E Team to reflect the strategic partnership and collaboration starting in Season 9.
The multi-year partnership brings together two highly-experienced organizations with a focus on excellence.
Starting season 9, DS PENSKE will open a new chapter by racing the third-generation of Formula E racing car which combines high performance, efficiency and sustainability. To inaugurate this partnership, DS PENSKE presents one of the strongest driver pairings in the series with reigning Formula E World Champion, Belgian Stoffel Vandoorne, and, unique two-time Formula E Champion, Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne. JEV has played a key role in DS Automobiles success over the past years.
The valuable experience of the PENSKE AUTOSPORT team which has competed in every race since the series’ inception, combined with the cutting-edge technologies of the french manufacturer is assured to deliver outstanding results for the 2023 e-Prix season around the globe. Furthermore the amazing consistency and the exceptional performances of drivers JEV and Stoffel and DS PENSKE should enjoy many wins and titles to follow.
