London, UK – DS PENSKE prepares for  final rounds 15 & 16 of the Championship 

  • The season finale of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is set to take place at the iconic London ExCel Circuit – Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st of July, at 17h03 local time

The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is set to conclude its thrilling tenth season with the final two races in the United Kingdom this weekend. On July 20th and 21st, 2024, the ExCeL London will come alive as the Championship makes its fourth appearance at this iconic venue.

Located in the historic Royal Docklands, the ExCeL London circuit is renowned for its unique design, seamlessly integrating indoor and outdoor racing. This distinctive track offers an exciting challenge for drivers and a captivating spectacle for fans.

After 14 eventful races in 7-months, DS PENSKE arrives at the final races working around the clock to prepare the cars for the highest possible qualifying results with the goal of scoring maximum points. The squad is determined to harness the full speed and capability of the DS E TENSE FE23 and maximize the opportunities to finish this hyper-competitive season on a high note. 

In the drivers’ classification, Jean-Eric Vergne – Formula E’s only double champion – is currently 6th and just 28 points off the provisional podium. The Belgian Stoffel Vandoorne, who won the series in 2022, is currently 10th heading into the final double-header of the season.

The 2024 Hankook London E-Prix will determine the season’s ultimate Champions in what promises to be an exciting finale. Racing enthusiasts can look forward to the last two rounds of the season, scheduled to begin at 5 pm (local time) on both Saturday and Sunday.
