Miami, Florida – After competing in Brazil, Mexico and Saudi Arabia, Formula E returns to the Sunshine State as the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship makes its return to Miami for Round 5 of Season 11. For the first time since hosting the inaugural U.S. Formula E race in Season 1, Miami is back on the calendar – and this time, it is the iconic Homestead-Miami Speedway that will welcome the electric racing spectacle at 2:05pm local time on Saturday 12th April, 2025.

The iconic oval-turned-road circuit will trade stock cars for electric single-seaters, with the 3.551km, 15-turn layout promising high-speed action and strategic energy management across 26 laps of racing.

For DS PENSKE, the Miami E-Prix marks a special homecoming. The American squad will be looking to make a powerful statement in front of its home crowd. With the grandstands expected to be filled with passionate local fans, the pressure – and the motivation – will be high.

The team arrives in Miami riding the momentum of a fruitful weekend in Jeddah, where Maximilian Günther delivered a masterclass by securing pole position, fastest lap, and the race win. That dominant performance not only showcased the pace and precision of the DS E-TENSE FE25 car, but also reaffirmed the team’s competitiveness heading into the second half of the season.

Eight weeks on from that huge success, preparations for Miami have been intense. DS PENSKE drivers have been hard at work in the simulator, fine-tuning setups and strategies to tackle the unique demands of the Homestead-Miami circuit. Every detail has been analyzed, every scenario rehearsed — all in pursuit of another top result. As the season reaches its midpoint, every point matters.

DS PENSKE is determined to capitalize on the momentum and climb the standings with a strong result in Miami, this Saturday 12 April at 14h05 local time.

Jean-Éric Vergne, DS PENSKE Driver – 2018 & 2019 Formula E Champion

‘Very excited to race in Miami this weekend! The time since Jeddah has been all about preparation, Homestead is a demanding circuit, it is not just about the speed, you have to be smart with energy use and stay clean through the technical sections. With the added heat and humidity, it is going to be a real test for everyone on the grid. Feeling the support from local fans is a big boost for me, I will do everything I can to give them something to cheer for!’

Maximilian Günther – DS PENSKE driver

We have had a very good preparation back at the factory, kept developing on a high level and feel ready for a strong weekend on home soil.’

The track – stats:
3.551 km track length
15 Turns
Anti-Clockwise
36 laps (+ added laps)
Race start time: 14:05 local time
